I mean without searching for it does it make sense to you? Also when you click on the i for info, on the right bottom of the screen, do you get a match for it in the results?

Why is the link I posted giving me today’s?
Let me try again:
http://www.bing.com/ Same thing. How do I get it to post yesterdays?
I tried, but so far it’s a no-go.
I’ll keep trying.
I am confused. You ask us to describe Bing’s 11/18/15 home page without searching for it and you then give us a link to Bing???
I don’t understand. Do you have a link to the archived site? None of us can go back-in-time as far as I’m aware. No offense, but if I had that ability I’d probably have better things to do than review websites.
Then go do it. :|
@flo – a friend suggested something to try getting to it. I’ll see if it works. Then we can see to your question.
I couldn’t tell you what is on Bing’s homepage today. It has to be the worst, blatantly commercialized search engine on the net. I ask for Honore de Balzac and it gives me the homepage to a coffee shop in Sweden. I ask for the Islamic State’s online magazine, Dabiq, and it gives me a delicatessen in London. Absolutely useless for my needs.
I would imagine that you might be able to find it in the Internet Archives’ Wayback Machine.

@msh Thank you for getting it exactly. What is the image about (the search results don’t help) and in my 1st post, why is it posting the link of the image from Nov. 19 when I was posting the one from Nov. 18?
@everyone else in order to go back in time you just click on the ’‘less than’’ sign key not far from the i for detail at the bottom of the screen, and you’ll find previous dates’ images. Except at this moment clicking the ’‘less than’’ (or back) sign doesn’t seem to be working.
@msh…i.e Thank you for getting my questions exactly, which are What is the image about….why is the link I posted showing Nov. 19th instead of 18th
Is this the image you were looking for? Ironically, I couldn’t find it in a Bing image search, but it was the first image result in Google, using the search terms “Kanas national nature reserve china getty images”.
@dappled_leaves Yes that is the image but how did you know the search term?
@flo I followed your advice above (re. finding previous Bing pages), then looked at the description in the lower right-hand corner. I typed a few key words from that description into a new image search window, first using Bing, then using Google.
Oh Okay. Thanks. I guess the less than sign was only temporarily out of order.
But what is the image below the middle part that looks like a narrow road?
@flo I think it might be a beach around the island or peninsula that is in the middle of the image, and perhaps that beach is covered in a dusting of snow.
It’s an odd image… the foreground seems to be a part of the lake, but the trees reflected in it (upside-down) are not in the image at all. I think that we would see those trees in the top of the frame if the image were bigger. That is, all of the water in the image reflects a forest on a hillslope that is on the opposite side of the water from where the photograph was taken.
