Some people know my real name and I haven’t been accosted in the real world.

A lot of us know each others’ real world names, thanks to Facebook and email.
It’s up to you whether you change your name again, but it’s neither required or necessary. We know who you are. :-)
NEVER use your real name on the internet except for reputable financial transactions.
