What do you do to get your energy up?
I’m feeling run down, burnt out, tired, but would, obviously, rather be full steam ahead! Got any suggestions for me?

Do something that excites you. You could listen to loud/upbeat music, or talk with a friend, or something of that sort.
Well I drink a lot of Energy Drinks
I wouldn’t say it helps much though, it’s more of an addiction.
I get out of tired slumps by working out.
Whenever I go for a walk I am re-energized, especially if I can get somewhere out in nature.
when you wake up eat a good breakfast and then do as many push ups as possible.
Rest, proper nutrition and exercise. It’s one of those catch 22 things though because who feels like working out and eating right when you’re feeling crummy. But I guarantee that if you push yourself to rest at a decent time without over sleeping, eat well and exercise for a week or so, it makes a world of difference.
Do as I say…not as I do
Vent with a friend. That’s what gets me clear and energized, pointed in the right direction. Thank God for friends!
Crystal Light on the Go Energy Wild Strawberry
Not only will Crystal Light energy keep you hydrated, but it’s got enough caffeine to keep you going throughout your workout. Make sure to drink sufficient amounts of water before your run, but if you’re planning to be out for a while, take it along with you to keep you hydrated throughout the morning. Remember that when you’re body feels thirsty, you’re already somewhat dehydrated. It’s best to keep sipping every 10–15 minutes throughout the run.
Energy Shot
One shot of this energy supplement and you’re good to go. If you’re looking for a quick boost in your energy supply, this energy shot is the way to go. (check it out at http://Zantrex3.com)
Clif Bar (chocolate brownie is my favorite)
These are best to eat 20–45 minutes before you run or a little bit at a time while you race to give you the extended energy to run. Not only do they have the right amount of protein, carbs and fiber, but they’re delicious too – unlike some of the other energy bars out there.
Power Gel (tangerine is my favorite)
Some people don’t like the feeling of the gel going down their throat, but it’s a great energy supplement if you can handle the texture. It’s best to slurp down powergel with water every 45 minutes of strenuous activity.
Jelly Belly Sports Beans
These are awesome energy boosters. Each pack has about the same amount of caffeine as half a cup of coffee and they contain just the right amount of carbs, vitamins and electrolytes to keep you going to the end of your run. Plus they’re fun to eat!

Eating healthy and working out on a regular basis. It’s not a quick fix, but something that keeps my energy consistent over time.
Or a big cup of coffee.
