If you are a passenger in a car, do you look down when the driver shifts into park?

If you heard a gun shot, would you look up?

What would distract a police officer from seeing any of 16 shots fired?

Oh, they did see.
They just chose to willingly lie to protect a fellow crooked pigsow.
Or as some others would say: ”They empathize with those who lose control.”
