Do you ever brush your teeth while showering?

Asked by SQUEEKY2 (23425points) December 20th, 2015

I find it saves a bit of time in the morning, just wondering if it is strange or not, and do other people do it as well?

No. It’s a waste of water.

Why would it be a waste your already showering?

SavoirFaire's avatar

It extends the amount of time you are in the shower with the water running.

No. I don’t like spitting toothpaste out onto my feet.

No.

I can see the rationale, but it just isn’t something that I have ever done.

I do pee in the shower, however.

Despite the popular myth, urine is not a treatment for jellyfish sting – but it’s a good way to save water.

So, as @elbanditoroso, suggests, you can offset any additional time spent brushing in the shower by peeing while you’re there.
Talk about shower multi-tasking!

I pee in the shower, but don’t brush there – I have one of those toothbrushes that time you 30 seconds per quadrant and I have to pay a bit of attention as I don’t always start in the same spot.

All the time. Saves time and kills two birds of hygieene at the same time. A win/win if you ask me. haha

I do after I add conditioner to my hair. I’m not in the shower any longer than usual because I let the conditioner sit in my hair for a minute or two before I rinse it out.

Near every day especially now that it is as cold as a Witches tit outside which means my bathroom is freaking cold and you can bet I will do everything I can to get ready for the day under the hot steaming spray of my shower.

No. It just doesn’t feel right. No other reason than that.

Thanks, for the clarification, @Coloma. I thought we were going to have to send the bombers over your bathroom for a bit.

No, but I did rinse with the shower head.

I used to but my current shower doesn’t drain fast. I don’t want to stand in soapy toothpastey water.
