@Mimishu1995, does your culture have any sort of traditional celebration with decorations, including lots of lights and sparkly, shiny things, especially during a deep-dark time of year? Music, gifts, special food, parties, special events? It’s like that.

I just finished eating a small chicken in bed. It was better than KFC. It was all white and juicy.

@Jeruba the only thing I can think of is New Year’s Eve. Decoration is everywhere, from outside to inside. Every family has to do a total clean up for the whole house, and even buy new furniture. New Year’s Eve is usually at the coldest time of the year too. Music, gifts… you can find everything.
