Does anyone have any ideas on how to port NES ROMs to the iPhone?
I was able to do this a long time ago with iFuntastic, but now it doesn’t work with the 2.x software(hopefully it will later). Can someone link a page or explain how I can put these games on there, I sure do miss Mario.

Are you familiar with SSH? I’ve found it easiest to use an FTP client to transfer files to the iPhone. Just plug in your phone’s ip address- use “root” as the log in and “alpine” as the password and once you’re in, just navigate to the Roms folder and you should be good to go.
I hate using Terminal but I guess I’ll have to get used to it. Can you direct me/link me to a page with how to use it and install it? I think I used it once but then gave up with it?
You don’t have to use Terminal- I use FTP.
All you have to do is open up an FTP client, set it to SSH or SFTP mode and enter your iPhone’s IP address.
Use “root” as your username and “alpine” as your password.
Navigate to /var/mobile/Media/ROMs/NES and upload your roms there.
If you have a Mac, what client do you use?
U first need to jailbreak your iPhone in order to instal the NES app and only then will u be able to install roms. NES is actually 1 of the first games available in Cydia under iPhone’s 2.0 firmware. I personally used PwnageTool on my mac to jailbreak my new iPhone 3g, and it has both th official Appstore and Cydia for 3rd party apps.
wow, happie! i heard that jailbreaking the 3g iphone was one of the hardest things to do…. ever! lol.. i never will jailbreak my 1st gen iphone.. to me, it’s not worth the risk…
