My family didn’t have any.
My husband’s family (Mexican) eats 12 grapes at midnight for luck. An Argentinian friend of mine does that too.
Many Colombians I know wear yellow for luck.
What are your traditions and superstitions for New Years Eve?

We don’t have any.
I know Italians make sure tthe house is clean on new year’s eve. Something about luck, I think.
We have it at my grandparents’ place. First we eat a big dinner, then we play scopone and dominos while my mom falls asleep on the couch, and finally we watch the ball drop on TV. Lastly, we drink champagne and eat soup.
I didn’t grow up with any. I’ll sleep, but the fireworks will wake me up.
I will put coins on the windowsill outside to bring in prosperity.
HNY!
Don’t really have any. We have a friend who is a pyrotechnics expert and one with a house on a lake, and they’re colluding to put on a party with massive fireworks this year. I’ll probably be designated driver for a few people, since my new car has some extra seats.
My half sister, who is half Mexican (our dad) and half Colombian (her mom) put the 12 grapes on FB. She wrote that they make 12 wishes with the 12 grapes.
Don’t say Happy New Year until after midnight. It’s not like new year yet!
Say Happy New Year to everyone the first time you see them in January.
Drink lots
Have 2 days off work afterwards
Happy New Year!!
