If Vladimir Putin is writing in English and signing his name, how would he spell it?

He probably doesn’t need to write in English, but just for theorotical purposes. In French it’s Poutine. In English it’s Putin. Are there other ways of spelling it using the English alphabet? If different countries that speak the same language spell it differently would he spell it according to which country the person he’s writing to is from?
