What do you do when listening to podcasts?
I’m new to podcasts and I was just wondering what other people do while listening to them? I’m finding that I can’t just sit and listen and that I typically have to be doing something else. Like drawing or playing a simple game.

I use them to help me fall asleep.
I’m in a love/hate relationship with Welcome to Night Vale right now.
The guy’s voice is so soothing, but The Weather always wakes me up.
I have Welcome to Night Vale on my list, but I haven’t started listening yet.
I listen while walking, especially in the morning to the train. I listen while driving. Occasionally when I am having trouble sleeping.
I can’t listen when exercising, I need music for that. And while I can cook while listening, I can’t do complex problems or tasks.
@zenvelo I didn’t even think to listen while cooking! Good idea. :D
I listen to them at the gym, while washing dishes, while putting laundry away, or pretty much any time I’m doing some task that doesn’t demand too much brain power. Depending on how much I have to concentrate on the podcast itself, I sometimes do Sudoku puzzles while listening.
When I listen to podcasts, I warp into another dimension where I listen to podcasts, leaving behind a person in this dimension who doesn’t completely know what a podcast is, even though I’m a computer programmer, app designer, etc.
Same thing happens when I Tweet, or check Newsfeeds, or Flickr.
Although, I suspect listening to a podcast may be somewhat like what I did today, but less brand-named, which was to listen to the Jan 17 Sanders Clinton MacWhozit debate on YouTube, for which I mostly was just listening and playing Dominions 4 (a Swedish indie medieval fantasy conquest game).
Honestly, lately I’ve been using my desktop computer to listen to them and then I usually browse Google Street View while listening, especially if the podcast is about a specific place (like the first season of Serial), then I look at the places that are being discussed.
