How long does a full tank of gas last you?
How long, both in days and miles, does your tank last? How big is the tank?

A tank of fuel can last two to three weeks or 300 miles for me. I have a twenty gallon tank but only get about 28 miles per gallon. But that was quite a feat for a full sized car back in ‘78
This elephant has a new car, an economy model, that holds around 10.8 gallons, which squeezes me out roughly 25 mpg. I’m not doing much driving right now so a tank lasts me a week or so, give or take. Gas costs $1.53 right now so a tankful runs me around $20 a fillup—a far, far cry from what I was paying a year and a half or two years ago with a bigger, less fuel-efficient car.
25 gallon tank, around 450 miles depending on if it is highway driving or city driving.
Full size pickup truck.
A full tank lasts me a month since I ride the bus to work. :)
@Pachy A new car, how exciting!
It lasts forever.
I don’t drive.
Right now, in my car, about two weeks. I think my husbands truck is about ten days. I’m not sure exactly, but I think my car takes 16 gallons, and the truck takes 30.
It lasts about 180 days as I usually drive just once a year on holiday when I fill up twice and do around 800 miles.
Well, @AdventureElephants, it would have been a happier experience had I not been forced to buy it due to an accident that totaled my previous car. :-(
About a week or 300 miles. Get about 18.5 miles to a gallon, more for highway driving.
I don’t really pay attention. Fuel economy is not my first concern.
I generally add gasoline $5 at a time as the mass of a full tank of fuel effects the car’s driving dynamics. negatively.
On a long trip I fill up. I can get from Atlanta to Gainesville FL on my 13 gallon tank. (This is with performance modifications and a heavy right foot). Ignition timing is manually set for near maximum power, not fuel economy. However the car has been on a mild mass reduction program.
Full synthetic motor oil improves fuel economy notably. So do the rigid and slightly overinflated tires.
I get about 40 us mpg (about 50 imperial mpg). a tank lasts me about a week
I think it’s mad that I buy in litres, drive in miles but my car tells me mpg. I would prefer mpl but apparently that’s not a thing
