I was wondering how many of us on Fluther have
had some kind of plastic surgery some time in their
lives.

I wouldn’t mind a bit of Botox to remove my ‘evil crinkle’ line (right between my eyes). I must frown when I’m thinking. I’m not about to do it though. Frozen forehead would probably look as bad.
Oh, heck, yes! I started in my 20s. I’ve had three liposuctions, and I now get facial Botox and fillers.
Botox can be a nightmare or a wonder; it all depends on the person giving the injections. If the person’s truly skilled, the doses are minimal and don’t cause frozen-face.
I had a breast reduction.
Nose job. I’m now in posession of a cutey patootie nose.
No plastic surgery, although when I fell from a loft bed* and banged my head on the corner of a desk, thereby slicing open the bottom left corner of my lip, the hospital called in a plastic surgeon to make the stitches cleaner and minimize the scar.
* It was the middle of the night, I had forgotten I was in a loft bed, and thought I would be nice to my sister and leave any lights off… never again!
None for me. I’d probably be too much of a baby.
Nope, I’m perfectly fine with my aging process and if I was going to spend 10–20 or 30k on something it sure wouldn’t be a face lift or a boob job. I don;t have the money now anyway but, when I did have more money my spending preferences are good food, travel, decorating my home and artwork.
