49 dead in a Mexican prison riot, any heartbreaking international news caught you by surprise lately?

Why is this thing in Mexico heartbreaking? Quite the opposite.

You have two rival drug gangs fighting against each other in prison. Scum versus Scum. I think that the world is probably much improved by having these cogs in the drug machine put permanently out of commission. Let the shits kill each other.

If there is anything international that is heartbreaking, it’s the Russians bombing the hospitals in Syria over the weekend.

I’m going to stretch the rules here a bit. The story I stumbled across today happpend on or about 25 April 2015—but I found it today. It happened in Montgomery, Alabama. But, since I live in the Island Republic of St. Lucia, this is international news for me. It is really an incredible story. Shocking even. I guarrantee it will blow most people’s minds who’ve never heard it before. It was such an incredible story, that i thought it was some kind of parody at first; something from the Onion. But no. It’s true. I checked with other sources. This actually happened and there actually are people like those described in the news article. They really do exist. And evidently there are enough of them to approve the Alabama state law at the center of this story.

Will this Alabama story be allowed under these circumstances? Cuz you really gotta read this. You will not believe it.

Forget it. The story was fake according to Snopes There were at least 3 pages of google newsites with different sources for the story—all fake or fooled like I was for a minute. ha. Got me.

@elbanditoroso I see it a different way. These are human beings who deserve punishment and can be called scum though I doubt they are all scum. Some are there maybe not for drug related reasons or heinous crimes.

Still they do not deserve to be in overcrowded filthy jails even chickens destined to be slaughtered would dare spend a few minutes. That’s their reality, sure, doesn’t mean they don’t deserve some compassion.

These scum still have families who love them anxious for news outside the prison.
