What do you think about the Smith and Wesson retirement plan? ( Possibly nsfw)
How do you want your life to end? How much pain can you live with? A woman in Canada had asked for doctor assisted suicide and the courts are ok with it. It’s under a publication ban. So I don’t know how it turned out. What do you think?

Why did the chicken cross the road?
Because it was depressed and suicidal.
It knew that crossing the road was a dangerous, possibly fatal action…
I think everyone has the right to end their life as they see fit. Nobody can determine, nor should they have the right, what another considers quality of life. I can live with a good amount of physical pain but if I’m going to end up sick and living in poverty in my old age the Smith & Wesson retirement plan suits me just fine, except I am not a gun fan nor owner so mine would be the Carbon Monoxide retirement plan.
A rag in the tailpipe, sweet dreams. lol
You essentially asked 3 distinct questions and these are my answers…quickly…as little as possible….and what I think doesn’t matter to most people.
I mean, I don’t want to shoot myself if that’s what you’re asking. I’d rather die painlessly at home with my loved ones, but few of us get that lucky anymore. I have no objections to assisted suicide, though. I’d like to think I’d never take that way out, but I doubt I know how bad pain can get so it’s hard for me to say. I definitely think that people should have the option available.
When I die, I would like to go peacefully in my sleep, like my grandpa; not screaming in fear like the passengers in the car.
We have the Death With Dignity Act here. If three doctors agree that you have less than six months to live they can prescribe you a drink that will drift you off to permanent sleep that you can take at your leisure.

Last year 218 people were given the option. 132 took it. So 132 out of 4 Million took this route. And this has been legal since 1998.
I am all for it, as long as I have a terminal illness with a ton of pain then yeah I would want off this shit pile.
I think it’s barbaric that archaic laws in most states would necessitate someone having to resort to using a gun rather than a medical prescription.
If I knew that I would likely die in agonizing pain, I would uproot my life and move to Oregon.
But death with dignity should be available to anyone regardless of which state they live in.
Dr. Jack Kevorkian was truly a man ahead of his time. Everybody who does have the opportunity for a sensible peaceful medically assisted death owes him a huge THANK YOU. He was willing to go to prison for this principle so that people would not have to resort to a gun.
