How successful do you think Caitlyn Jenner will be acting as Ted Cruz's "Trans Ambassador"?

As silly as the Log Cabin Republicans thinking they can get support for LGBT issues.
Caitlyn must have some kind of self-hatred going on, since Cruz has participated in “Death to Gays” rallies, and while being trans is not the same as being gay, it is all part of the fight for equal rights.
Lord…is this really true? haha
Just when I thought the election was turning towards sane.
@Coloma Literally, you took the words right out of my mouth. It scares me. Veggie pizza with sausage and now this.
Taking a page out of the Trump playbook probably won’t hurt him a bit.
@ibstubro Caitlyn endorsing Cruz and saying he is so bad he is good, is as bizarre as anything we have seen to date from Trump.
Oh, okay.
The whole he/she Cruz/Jenner thing was throwing me off.
I don’t think Jenner’s psych exam was extensive enough for a conscientious sex change.
Sounds like the sort of thing that the delusional Jenner will never be asked to do. So… utterly unsuccessful.
You know, I want to be supportive of Caitlyn in her gender correction, but I’m sorry – she’s just bonkers. Considering the family that she married into, I can only assume that she’s always been bonkers.
I think the main reason that Caitlyn identifies more with Republicans is because her wealth has successfully kept her insulated from so much of what most trans people have to cope with both socially as well as financially.
I watched the several episode documentary show following her transition and this became more obvious with each episode.
Her head is in LA LA Land as well as her residence. She really has absolutely no idea how people like Ted Cruz (hard-assed Fundys) have a long long history of despising gay and trans people.
He might be a bit less vocal about it now because he might not want to alienate them en masse, but she should not make any mistake about it. “Her kind” is perceived by people like Cruz as being anathema to a “Christian USA”
Make no mistake about it; I don’t share his viewpoint, but it needs to be stated plain and simple so people know what they’re dealing with. And she is clearly totally oblivious or she wouldn’t be so blithely volunteering. I hope Jenny Boylan and the rest of the trans community drop her a clue. She needs one badly.
@syz That’s pretty much my reaction to her as well.
