Are you having a happy St Patricks day?

I just had a Shamrock sugar cookie, that’s about the extent of my celebration today.
I am house sitting and pet sitting so no drinky poos for me, gotta be responsible, dammit. haha

I went to my daughter’s scholastic bowl meet and now I’m making BLTs. I’m drinking water. I really don’t celebrate anymore because three years ago I spent the day watching my mother suffer in the hospital after brain surgery after she had a ruptured brain aneurysm. This day brings back bad memories for me. I could see the parade downtown from the window of her room in ICU.

Np. I am out of town, alone in a hotel south west of Philadelphia getting prepared for a business meeting tomorrow morning. Ugh!

@ARE_you_kidding_me Well, it’s one of my jobs and it’s not responsible to drink on the job now is it? These are somebodies pet children.
Once last fall one of the dogs got bit by a rattlesnake and I had to take him to the ER vet at 8 p.m.
With 3 dogs and 11 horses one must be sober.

You don’t drink when you’re handling horses. Plenty of weekend coming if I want to imbibe a bit.

Happy? Are you kidding? I just polished off enough homemade corned beef and cabbage for three people.

I’m having a happy day but it has nothing to do with St Patrick.

My husband twisted my arm and I’m now drinking Rolling Rock. No green beer but I do have a green bottle. We watched House of Cards.

St Patrick’s Day is so yesterday. And I didn’t do anything special. I never do.

Okay, a little late but I’ll keep my green ducky up just because. haha
