If you could go back in time quit groaning! what one thing could you change that wouldn't substantially change the course of your life?
I simply can’t answer those “if you could go back in time” questions because too much of what I cherish, my kids and grand kids, probably wouldn’t be born.
However, I quit smoking in 1984 and picked it back up in 1990, after all the kids had done been born. :( If I never started smoking again I think it would change me for the better, and I think my life course would still give me my grandkids. But…on the other hand….the butterfly effect….

I would somehow stop the horse from throwing my grandfather. He landed in sagebrush, the horse then stomped him, and the wounds suffered later developed into skin cancer which led to his early death at age 68.
I would have chosen to live with my mom when I was 12. I would have fought harder to live with my mom at 4 years old. ( even if it means running away from home).
There are a lot of things I would change that really wouldn’t affect the way my life has gone. Mostly if I had more confidence with women and girls and had a lot more sex.
@zenvelo I would have said that but aren’t sure it would really be a good thing. I mean, sure, at that time it would have been great, but now??

I’d save a lot more and spend a lot less.
I would change one reaction I had to one thing my mom said when I was about 15. I was on edge at the time and distorted what she said, letting it become surprisingly consequential… (I can be a bit dramatic.)
If it were not toi make a significant change in my life or its course, why would I bother to change it?

@kritiper Well, I don’t regret anytime I have had sex. But I do regret the number of times I missed signals that women were interested in me.
I would not do something I did do. There were no disasters as a result but I wish I hadn’t done it.
