I don’t cut them and tend to leave what’s uneaten in the restaurant because I’m not happy with reheated burger. Has anyone found a successful way to reheat them – bun included?

I just do it in the microwave. It’s not as good as when originally served (duh) but by that time I don’t really care.
Micrwave 20 seconds, get your drink, and salad, then hit it for another 20 seconds. It won’t be perfect but you will have the satisfavtion of noy eastoing food or carrying it around with you in places you don’t want it.
microwave low heat, 35 seconds on 1
LOW HEAT. Burgers are prone to be soggy. Microwaves are good, make sure the spinny plate is on
Leave it out for 20–30 min then quickly re-sear the outside in a hot pan with a dab of butter. Re-toast the bread in the pan after.
We got rid of our microwave.
Use new, cold, crispy lettuce.
Deconstruct, reheat the patty or patties on a griddle or skillet, re-toast the bun.
let us know what you do and it worked, please!
Burgers reheat better from frozen than refrigerated.
I microwaved and ate a double cheesburger from mcdonalds once because there was nothing else to ear.
Cast iron skillet, medium heat, heavy lid or other heavy thing to press down burger. Heat both sides one minute.
Toasts the bun a bit but doesn’t let it get soggy like the microwave.
Thanks for the suggestions but I may have to stick with eating it all on the first go!
@janbb I was the kid at the boarding school that had the nickname for that!
I would separate the burger from the bun at the restaurant, in the go box. If the bun is already soggy, just leave it.
To eat leftover burger:
Make a pasta side of macaroni and cheese, fettuccine Alfredo, or similar. Set aside.
If you’ve brought both burger and bun, reheat the burger on low under a minute, and then the bread, no more than 10 seconds.
If it suits you, reassemble and eat with your side.
If the burger is decent, but the bun is sogged, toss the bun, and either eat the burger with a fork, or chunk up and stir into the pasta. Eat.
If the burger sucks and the bun is soggy, pass them up. Fry yourself up a nice piece of garlic bread, pour a glass of wine, and eat the pasta.
Remove the bun and dressing by placing them on a plate. But the meat of the burger in the oven on 150 Celsius / 300 Fahrenheit for about 8 minutes. Then put the burger back on the bun with the dressing.
I NEVER reheat beef.
The many microwave suggestions are a terrible idea.
The blush in the middle of your patty will be lost forever.
Like coffee, if your burger must be reheated to be palatable it wasn’t that good in the first place.
Toaster oven wins this game
8–10 min @ 350
Microwaves are only good for heating up liquids, they ruin everything else.
Reading all the suggestions above highlights how unfussy of an eater I am.
But, @LuckyGuy & @Kardamom, if you don’t separate the filling from the bread at some point, reheating is going to turn the bread to glop.
