Is Pennsylvania the only state in the US that allows self-uniting marriages?

Although I would like input from those who do not live in the US if it is/isn’t allowed where you are.

I had to look that one up! Seems like Pennsylvania is about it, and even then you need to be Quaker or Bah’ai to be okayed.
Just looked it up. Thought it was about marrying yourself until I did – better for tax purposes?
We got married in NY with no officiant (as members of the Baha’i Faith, like @zenvelo mentions).
The Local Spiritual Assembly of the Baha’is signed our marriage license and approved our witnesses (our mothers), but there was no one other than us officiating the “ceremony”.
