If you got some extra money, what would it be heaven for you to spend it on?
What would make you feel all happy feet and tingly? I would get ecstatic paying bills up or, even better yet, OFF.
I think my husband would be happier getting a toy of some kind.

Topless housemaids, they cost a bloody fortune, you have to insure their nipples against scalds & localised chaffing from soft furnishings…but still ;-}
A bigger aquarium. I want more fish soooo badly. Moreso than money, the thing that’s holding me back is that my apartment is on a second floor, so if a big tank cracked it would flood the downstairs neighbor and people would be very angry with me.
Please define “extra money”.
It’s all relative, @CWOTUS. When I was trying to support the family on $10,000 a year, $100 surprise money would have made me all shakey.
In the income bracket that I’m in now, we’re talking about $3,000. I got a surprise check for $1,5000 when I paid off my house, and a tax refund of another $1,500. Which is not much for a lot of people, but it’s a nice, cushy amount for us.
And there is my cousin, who won $90 million in the lottery. $3000 wouldn’t mean a thing.
So, name your own price.
Whatever the amount, I would use it to pay down or pay off my only two debts—house and car.
A nice large amount of land. Tiny houses. Windmills. Walapinis. Classes.
I’d buy an apartment in the nicest part of Dublin (Dundrum), and a car.
I could use some dental work I can’t really afford at the moment.
Myself. To not have to worry about where the money will come from for the rest of my life.
@ucme Dude! You know where I live!
I don’t have the habit of spending money immediately. I tend to put them aside for a rainy day. So maybe I would be the happiest if I spent it on a rainy day.
If I need something or want something or want to go somewhere, I can. My credit cards are all paid up. I’d say I’d probably put it in the bank and use it in a practical way, or maybe take a more extravagant vacation than I would normally, but I’m more practical than that.
OK, so my “extra money” turned into millions! I would buy the farmer’s 10 acres across the street from my son’s house, build a house and turn the grounds into nature trails and a play ground. I’d also build a tunnel connecting our house to theirs.
