What artists have you seen perform live, who are no longer with us?
For example: I’ve seen Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, and Jerry Garcia in concert.

The problem with this question for me is that I don’t know who’s dead. Off hand I could name:
Phil Oaks
Otis Redding
Jimi Hendrix
Janis Joplin
Is Joan Baez still kicking?
Ginger Baker?
Dino Valenti?
Country Joe MacDonald?
John Lennon and George Harrison.
Jerry Garcia
Stan Owsley
A couple of the original Jefferson Airplane. Grace Slick looks dead, does that count?
The whole Allman brothers band, I think, died in a plane crash.
Probably a lot more.
Rolf Harris, he painted a naked child bent over his knee, the dirty bastard is locked away now & so no longer with us, long may he rot
@Espiritus_Corvus Joan Baex just performed in my area.
Lynryrd Skynrd died in a plane crash; I think one Allman Bro died in maybe a motorcycle crash.
I saw Phil Ochs too and kissed him afterward.
I saw Prince play in October 1981, opening for the Roling Stones. He was booed off the stage.
I saw Lynrd Skynrd the year before the plane crash.
James Brown
Benny Goodman
Chris Farley
Von Freeman
Dexter Gordon
Aaron Copland conducting an orchestra
I don’t like live rock shows much and have not been to many
The best one I ever attended was David Bowie.
@Espiritus_Corvus
Joan’s father died when he was 95, and her mother died last year (IIRC) at the age of 100. I think and hope she’s going to be around for many more years.
@Brian1946 Me too. I always liked her and Mimi Farina. Real Troopers for what is right.
@janbb You kissed Phil Ochs? Amazing. There is a song in that.
The Ramones (1987, 1988, and 1999).
Oh, dear, most of them. Pavarotti tops the list.
John Entwistle (The Who)
Frank Sinatra
Count Basie
forgot…
Motorhead (Lemmy)
