What happened to google search?

I keep getting sent to a site called “my way” with lots of dead end pointless links and never any actual infomation. Google seems to have bailed on me. Was there an upgrade and I missed it? What happened to Google?

Make sure you are actually on google. My sister got hit with something similar where it looked like google but actually wasn’t. I traced it back to some malware from uTorrent that hijacked her default search engine.
