Can you help me find a error in reporting about Osama Bin Ladens death?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24948points) April 30th, 2016

Global News In Canada. She anounced that Barrack bin Laden was killed. Then she said Obama bin Laden was killed. Sorry I can’t find a link its been buried. It was a breaking news story in Canada. She mixed the two names between Osama Bin Laden and Barrack Hussien Obama.

When was this, @RedDeerGuy1? At the time bin Laden was killed? Don’t expect to find it, unless it was captured by some bloopers show.

The internet is no longer a massive store of data to be searched. It’s now a massive engine trying to force-feed you what it thinks you want to know.

7:35 pm mst on the day that Osama Bin Laden was killed. I was watching the Simpsons when the update came in. Its when Patty or Selma marries Louie the mobster.

It must have been removed already.. so just curious was the reporter fired after this incident?

She has her own news show on Global News.

Here it is. It’s recorded with a camcorder off a TV in some guy’s living room, but it is the Global News report you’re looking for. Yeah. She had major mindfart going on. Long hours and lotsa coffee will do that.

She gets it right the first time, then keeps saying Obama instead of Osama three times when obviously referring to Osama.

How’d you find it, @Espiritus_Corvus?

I Googled “Global News reporter reports Obama’s death.” It was the second link listed.
