For some reason I never think like that.

@Espiritus_Corvus You are truly blessed. Most of the day I worry wonder what my past would have been differently if I was smarter.

Thank you, RedDeer. I really believe we all are, only in different ways.

Actually sometimes I just wonder what would happen if I drew a bit better.

No, I don’t think a “little” bit more of anything would really change much about my life. It would have to take a LOT more.

Regrets? As the song says “I’ve had a few”.

No. I tend to do the best I can with what I have and then live with the outcome. I don’t see the point in looking back and saying ‘if only’. I don’t think it’s healthy. Plus, I am an optimist so if a door closes I strongly believe another one will open soon and in my experience, that new door has usually offered me something better than the thing I missed out on.

An extra million or so would likely make no less difference than a passing fart to a resting dog

No. I believe it’s hard to be happy if you’re constantly wishing for something. I feel lucky with what I have.

I look back and see many decisions which, made differently, would have no doubt changed the course of my life—for better or worse. But that’s the unchangable past, and that’s life.

No, I don’t.
