I was on that site at the very end, but I believe I had already found Fluther. I can’t really remember for sure. It was mostly the AB fiasco that sent me here.

I did. I live and work in Palo Alto now.

I was completely addicted to sites like this during high school, but after that my usage dropped down. Can’t believe this site is up and running still considering all the other ones that shut down.

What line of work are you doing now?

Right now I’m working as a teacher’s aide—I didn’t get started in education until recently, but it’s essentially what I’ve always wanted to do and I’m glad I’m finally doing it :)

Good to see another “old timer” (even though you are insanely young ). :-)

I know I felt insanely stupid when I found out that one of my best friends was only 16!! We had SO much fun! It wasn’t flirting or anything, just making believe stuff. When I learned that, that’s when I really realized the magic of the internet.

I was thinking of Balmung of the Azure sky (Carlos.) I guess his avatar should have clued me in, but I’m slow. I was thinking he was at least in his 20’s. He never tried to hide it, I’m just slow. As I said before. Slow. S L O W.
