Was anyone injured when the Berlin Wall fell?

The wall didn’t literally fall over. It was demolished in a controlled way.

I remember seeing some young adults jumping on the semi-collapsed wall and I wondered if they got hurt. Thanks I found a link.

Maybe someone was hurt transporting pieces around the world, or climbing on them.

Wall chunks were like pieces of the True Cross for a while. They were everywhere. My L station had one in Chicago. I’ve seen them in Michigan and Los Angeles.

I think today few people know how important the wall was in fact and as a symbol.

It was breached, technically, and then eventually dismantled. It never “fell” in the sense of falling apart.
