Calgoo or Plaxo?
Which is better? I idea of Plaxo owned by Comcast frightens me and Calgoo seems sketchy small company.

LinkedIn is a much better choice. I tried Plaxo for a short time, but quit using it because of the annoying solicitation emails it sent my contacts.
And I haven’t tried (or heard of) Calgoo.
I tried plaxo. I prefer linkedin. But frankly they all suck

To be frank, Facebook seems like a viable option. Simply create a facebook account separate from your personal account. (with a work email for example) Don’t add any childish features and don’t upload any photos that don’t correlate to your job or whatever else you need a plaxo account for.
facebook has a very clean layout. and almost everyone has one. Fluthermore, there is always room for expansion as your facebook is entirely customizable.
I meant further more, but “fluthermore” just looked so pretty I decided to run with it.
It really depends what you want out of it. At first I thought you were thinking of using it as a Networking Site but then Calgoo suggests that you are in search of a Calendar Sync software.
I use Plaxo because there is nothing else like it out there. (I had high hopes for MobileMe and might have even considered paying for it but I feel like it is too expensive). I like Plaxo because it does a decent job of keeping contacts, calendar and tasks in sync.
Haven’t used Calgoo so I can’t say how it works.
