What can children teach adults?
Exupery wrote a magnificent novella about a little boy. It teaches us many important things we forgot when entered the world of adults. What else should we derive from our childhood? Any significant lessons?

- Good friends are not defined by race and status.
– Good deeds should be done without any calculation.
– Our irrational fear and prejudice stop us from discovering the treasures of life.
– At the end of the day sincerity is still the best policy.
– Scream and fight as much as you want when angry, but after venting don’t hold on your bad mood for so long.

To receptive adults, children have an enormous amount to teach us. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry was an amazing man, especially for a military man and technician. The Little Prince is excellent reading as are his poignant reports during the Spanish Civil War and his poetic descriptions of his mail flights over the deserts of North Africa and the the Andes Mountains.

Make up your own rules and see how that works out.
They teach you how to take care of someone. How to put something else above your own desires. How to be patient. How to teach. How to comfort. etc… etc… etc… You could go down that line of thought indefinitely. Essentially kids make adults.
I’m still kind of a kid, I guess.
