It’s an antiquated practice that no nation which regards itself as civilized should engage in.
Many Muslim ones, including Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, do.
There are parts of San Francisco where you can get as much corporal punishment as you want (and can afford).
Japan. Its prison system turns its inmates into mental and physical wrecks, if they survive long enough to be executed.
