Will you be watching Euro 2016?

Hahaha, asking a sport question on here never gets much attention.
I am watching & will be supporting England, hope Wales do well too, Bale is absolute class

Just Poland’s matches—and then I’ll only watch a game to the end if it’s entertaining and Poland isn’t losing by more than a goal or two.

I really couldn’t care less overall. It’s just a big corporate advertising event with a lot of overpaid double-digit IQ men running around kicking a ball about. And then all the fans getting emotionally involved in the outcome of the matches and the tournament.

Completely irrational and pointless.

I don’t watch sports on TV, but the South American equivalent, the Copa América, is up here in Chicago this weekend. I was out on my bike in the touristy areas today and a few times when I saw a likely group of soccer football fans, I said “Argentina or Panama?”

I got “PANAMA!” back in response three times in a row.

So I’ll watch a little Copa tonight and cheer for Argentina. They need it!

I will not.

What is Euro 2016? I don’t recall seeing anything about it.

@ucme Bale? I think he’s absolutely overrated to be honest. Very good player, but overrated. I cannot wait to see England play tonight though.

Wales start with a win.. now pressure on England to start with a win too.

@imrainmaker I post this after the 1–1 draw with Russia, but I wasn’t optimistic of a win before the game.
England have never won their opening match in the Euros & have only won 3 times in 10yrs of tournament football.
