My microwave. A Kong. A bottle of root beer. A loaf of bread. A black Lab wearing a green harness. Grey carpet. A bike helmet. A newspaper with a picture of refugees on it. Birthday candles. A pen. A pizza cutter designed to look like a vinyl record. Tweezers. Leather shoes. A jar of feta cheese. A striped kitchen towel. A postcard. A bottle of coke filled with a bright yellow liquid…and a digital clock reminding me it’s way to late to be Fluthering.
I’m on my deck, and when I look to my right I see the width of the deck and then the screen door of the house. It’s propped open so the cats can come and go while I lay out here under the big umbrella.
Wall with window above it. Window open but still hot!
Russell is asleep on the floor next to me. Then there’s the kitchen table where Ian is playing on the laptop. Beyond that the living room where Hubby is asleep.
Tell Ian I said hi, not that he has a clue who I am, but still :)
My desk with computer sitting on top. It’s between two windows at the far end of my bedroom.
A bedside table with a lamp and a book; and a bed.
It is 6:20 pm. I’m in the kitchen after just eating supper and dessert of blueberries, strawberries, vanilla ice cream on a small brownie. I’m looking out the picture window at my yard and the woods behind. Directly to my right is the map wall that covers the west side of kitchen . It is covered with National Geographic maps of The World, The United States and AAA maps of New York State and The Finger Lakes Region of New York. My face lines up with Monroe County.
A vase of flowers on my desk. A window looking out at a wooded trail (which is a source of never-ending delight).
My bike and my CD collection.
A wall, and my segmented couch.
The pattern for the sweater I am knitting, and a glass of Cheval Blanc.
My kitchen cabinets, my orange curtain, and a paper lantern hanging in the kitchen.
My cat, Jelly. A framed DMB poster. A fan. The bottom portion of my bed.
A display shelving unit that has glass shelves and a light inside that isn’t on. On the shelves are crystal pieces. It’s not mine, I’m renting this house. I was surprised the owner left all of those figurines and glasses, and vases.
Beyond that is the front door.
The power of the internet, I got a bunch of mostly americans to look away from their screens & stuck my tongue out while they did so…it’s the small things ;-}
Seriously though, cheers for satisfying a mild curious itch
A self portrait of my father.
Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically across the plain.
Elvis.
He’s holding Marilyn Monroe’s hand as she weeps and smoking a doobie.
A big mirror. I am not a selfish person, so I ignore it most often. But it irritated me slightly at first. It made me feel that too much attention was directed at me.
