Where can I go to down load free games, like Spider Solitaire, that isn't going to hit me with a virus?
Spider solitaire isn’t on this computer. :( I’m afraid to down load anything from anywhere, with out a reference from you guys.

What operating system are you using? If it’s Windows 8 or 10 then you can download it from the Windows store app.
I didn’t even know there was a Windows store app!. Thanks you guys.
Also download Steam there are often free games and demos
In Windows 8 and 10 Microsoft bundled their solitaire card games in a single app called “Microsoft Solitaire Collection” ... I can’t remember if it’s automatically downloaded on the computer or if I went and downloaded it from the app store, but I think it might already be on your device (of course, the app store will have many different spider app options, so it’s still worth checking out!)
I did a search, didn’t see it. I found one, though.
WAIT!! Re—searched. I found it! This one is full screen, bigger, and I like it. Thanks @Soubresaut.
I am on a desk top. I have Windows 10. I reset my stuff to “Classic Shell.” When I click on the “start” button, at the very bottom left of my monitor, a search option comes up. I keyed in ‘Microsoft Solitaire Collection.” And there is was. It was downloaded along with all the other programs on my computer.
To get it online, you can go where @TropWillie said above.
Have you ever played Spider Solitaire @BellaB? It’s a great time waster!
I don’t think I have . Off to find it. Thanks for the clues!
It’s fun! I also like Freecell.
Uh-oh. Found it. They also have my favourite Mahjonng. So glad you asked the question – I wouldn’t have discovered the store otherwise.
Well YAY! Send me cheesecake. And beer.
Oops. Only have half of a small serving of cheesecake left. Had the rest with peaches.
I could mail ït if you’re having an emergency.
That was cruel! Naw…just bring it (the whole thing) to LuckyGuy’s next BBQ blow out. We’ll call it even.
http://tucows.com has several versions of Spider Solitaire. The one I use comes from Oberon Games and I paid for it. It’s wonderful. You can also get software from download.com but their downloader installs a toolbar that is tricky to remove so I never go there any more. Tucows does the same, but it’s easier to decline the toolbar. If you google “oberon games” there are dozens of sources. The one I have came from Micro$oft about ten years ago.
I found it, preloaded, on Windows 10. Thanks.
