There’s been a change, I guess, it’s no longer everyday. What’s the reason? What kind of notables is Google omitting now and why?

No, it wasn’t ever every day.
I agree – never every day.
They honor lots of things, not just individuals. They call them Google Doodles and here’s the archive.
@Call_Me_Jay Thanks for that. I see it’s very very rare that it’s not a Google Doodle day.
How do you get to the bottom of the page (the 1st day of Google Doodle)? There’s no “Go to bottom of page” or “Go to top of page”

You can just use the scroll bar on the side of your monitor to scroll up and down in the archives.
Control arrow up to go to the top and Control arrow down to go to the bottom.
At a glance the archive does look like a lot of birthdays. I think half or more.
I meant how to get to the bottom in one shot, immediately, (i.e the function of Got to bottom of page and “Go to top of page” on some websites. ) What you’re suggesting @janbb and @Tropical_Willie helps to go slightly faster, than the regular scrolling but it would still take forever and ever.
The home and end keys on your keyboard will do that for you.
Actually, I just tried both @Mariah and @Tropical_Willie‘s ideas and they both move me up and down a screen at a time.
Hmm that’s what the Page Down and Page Up keys located nearby are supposed to do. Home and End are supposed to take you to top or bottom instantly.
@Mariah I just get a screen at a time,
…Okay, whether it’s Ctrl with up Ctrl with down, or Home with End, or Home with Up or Down keys or just the Page UP Page Down keys alone, it’s fast or kind or fast scrolling, or a screen at a time… I’m not getting instantly there. Edited
