What does it mean for a girl when a guy says I have great feelings for you ?

Best to ask him what he means but it sounds like a confession of romantic feelings to me.

Sounds to me like he is trying to get himself off the hook
and doesn’t want a committed relationship. Kinda like I don’t
love you but have great feelings for you but this isn’t going
to turn into what you are wanting.

It could mean everything…....or nothing.

I would assume he wants to date me

I had a guy once say he had great feelings for me. I was at an outdoor party when I was a senior in high school. He “confessed” that he had these feelings for me, and had for a long time. He became angry that I didn’t have feelings in return and threw a full can of beer at me. The guys around me jumped up and went after him. I went home.
