I don’t like our political system, for one thing.

How we raise boys, how we raise girls, racism, homophobia, “an eye for an eye”, the way we treat animals, the fact that violence is considered to be more acceptable than sexuality in the entertainment industry. Really, the list is endless. I chose my username for a reason…
Too much violence in our cinema, TV shows, and real life. I am not talking about a cute cartoon like the road runner having a bomb go off or an anvil go splat. I mean real life looking dramas and glamorizing weapons and violence.
I would lower university prerequisites to 50%.
For the US I would like a national K-12 education program modeled on Finland’s.
Instead we have a fractured system where every state and every local school district has to come up with a curriculum and standards, and funding and resources are wildly uneven.
The best i hope is reboot the whole existence and let us start again.
I wish we would make buildings of stone as we used to instead of concrete and glass. I wish people wouldn’t leave litter in the streets.
The ugly drinking culture, it’s not big & it’s not clever…give your heads a wobble & behave
I would give university credit for library books read. I would close down most universities and put the funding to public libraries. I would put a warning label on Tiger Tiger ice cream. I would get rid of cash money banks. I would give retirement funds for those on disability and welfare . I would have ethically harvested beef pork and chicken.
Inherent racism and gun violence are the tops on my list at the moment.
We have this prophecy we call Armageddon. The USA is prominently absent from the story. The country must collapse and become helpless before then. You are seeing prophecy being fulfilled as you watch.
One would not want to be found resisting the prophecy.
The macho cowboy bravado.
- Stop caring too much about what other people are doing. My country has a weird quirk: when someone does something, right or wrong, a lot of people will do the same thing in just one second. Their excuse is always “because others are doing it”. So something can be seriously wrong, as long as many people are doing it it’s automatically right. People also love to look out and judge other people instead of focusing on their own life too, and one of the fastest ways to be hated is to be unable to follow the crowd. It’s like everyone want to be a programmed robot!
– Stop caring too much for the hierarchy. Here if you are born with high status you remain respected, otherwise you are nobody. Take the family dynamic for example. The older you are in the family tree the more volume you can speak. The only requirement to be an alpha male is to be the oldest son. I know it enforces the rule of respecting your elders, but it’s a total bullshit when it comes to solving problems. My family’s alpha male is so full of himself and many times messes everything up. What pisses me off even more is that sometimes I can forsee the consequences but I can’t prevent it because I’m at the bottom of the hierarchy! Now you can imagine what it’s like in other aspects of the society.
– Stop expecting all-A students. Why can nobody accept that not all students are perfect? In middle school I have to learn 12 subjects and in high school 13. Am I’m not allowed to mess any subject up. Each subject has a minimun requirement for each rank, so for example, you get all A for all subjects, you normally expect yourself to be ranked A. But if there is that one subject you don’t meet the minimun requirement, then sorry, you just get a B. And everyone looks at your ranking and think you are a B student, no one cares how good you overal grade is. We are students, not super-computers!
I can go on for days, but it’s getting too long. These are some of the most basic things that need to be changed.
I don’t have enough time in a day to even begin.
Uh. Free healthcare, education, reduced military spending, increased spending on infrastructure would be a start…. (USA)
A competitive, rather that cooperative mentality on my highways.
In South Africa – Replace Jacob Zuma – The most corrupted president on Africa
In Zimbabwe – Please can someone tell Robert Mugabe that he should retire after all he is Africa’s oldest Dictator at 92
Britain – Please go back to the EU! The European Union needs the pound!
USA – O dear too little time to say what I want to to say. Donald Trump may be a bad idea!
We have issues. I know that is putting it mildly, since I’m from the U.S. and I’m really young but I do see the problems. We speak without thinking, a bad habit. We don’t really put much thought into what we say, politically or even normally and end up contradicting ourselves through action or only realizing our mistake through the consequences. Everyone’s too caught up in what things should be instead of what they are, with society views and all it puts me off. Everyone must chose a religion, gay marriage still puts people in a sour mood, and racial disputes are extremely high especially with all the cops and videos. We also have the problem with personal opinion, not everyone is open minded and are eager to correct your thoughts on whatever you chose to think differently on. No one accepts your view and then explains you theirs, not willing to learn from each other. I’m not going to touch politics seeing as is we’re already screwed and I’m just not even going to attempt to look at the polling booths when election hits. Should I be forced to go, know that I will vote for everyone else and leave the president section unmarked except with a quick jabbing insult to both parties. Other than that, I’m going to have a good laugh and watch from the sidelines. No one appreciates opinions so even if I have a say on the matter of where things probably should go, know that it’ll be drowned out by the masses. (p.s. common sense is very hard to come by and sarcasm is rarely exposed because they can’t hear it too well).
If I could wave a magic wand this is what would change in Yankee Town:
• No more entitlements, if you are physical enough to do some work, you will be given job training through Jr. College, or a trade school for two years to gain employable skills, then you sink or swim.
• Revamp the education system, every school, public, private, charter, magnet, etc. goes under the voucher system, the money follows the student; let the competition begin.
• Get a DUI, license is gone for life, you don’t let an ex-felon get his 2nd amendment right back to own a gun, even if the crime involved no gun, why give a rolling weapon back to a person who can’t drive soberly?
• All schools will have a robust PE program, those who are way over weight will have it twice a day, regular and with a fat boot camp the 2nd session.
• All states on the ocean will have at least two desalination plants depending on size.
• The next 15–20 redacted
