[NSFW] Can Pokémon consent to sexual intercourse with their trainers?
Considering that it is acceptable in the Pokémon universe to force Pokémon into dangerous and potentially deadly fights, and that it is somewhat implied that they are sentient enough to do so willingly and consciously, does that also extend to sexual activity?
Or is consent not even relevant with the legal situation in that universe?

The Pokemon universe seems to lead us to believe that Pokemon are the equivalent form of real world’s animals (or at least that’s what I think). So like animals, they behave simlarly to animals. Do real life’s animals want to have sex with human?
The legal situation in that universe is completely wonky.
Pokemon do appear to be enslaved property. Unless there are specific morality laws based on sexual conduct with non-humans, it would not surprise me to see “Live Nude Skitty” signs in the seedier areas of the Johto Region.
They want to fuck their running shoes?
How very bizarre
Not concerned as I play the grown up (SFW) version that has existed for nearly 4 years:
Ingress.com
Actually, didn’t Ash’s mom have a live-in Mr. Mime?
@Seek
I was referring to Pokemon Go.
They can, but they prefer to have sex with each other (link is SFW, believe it or not).
@SecondHandStoke Ingress and Pokémon Go are two different games, the latter of which was released this year. There’s no way to have been playing it for four years. Also, the original version of Pokémon is plenty SFW.
The point is the question was about Pokemon story lore and has nothing to do with Pokemon Go at all or how it relates to Ingress.

Why not? It is all in the imagination anyhow. Heck, they can have a threesome with their sister and some Tibbles it is all good.
Exactly which Pokémon are you looking to boink?
Only if you buy the right app.
@Irukandji
I wasn’t clear. I don’t play PoGo.
@Seek
Relax, I’ve seen plenty of social questions go off topic way worse than what I posted.
He was saying he is an Ingress player.
@Seek Yeah, I figured that out when he said “I wasn’t clear. I don’t play PoGo.” I was just pointing out that he literally said the opposite of that before clarifying.
