If a Purge ever became legal would you participate?

If a Purge (as noted in a line of movies of the same name) became legal, for 12 hours you could harm, kill, beat, etc. anyone with not penalty or legal repercussions, would you? What if you were beckoned by a mob of people you knew to go out and ”get those people”, those whom society may deem as parasites, addicts, those on Megan’s list, suspected terrorist, homeless people, etc. would you be strong enough to say “no” if they asked you? If you participated, who would you kill if you knew you would never see a day in jail because of it?
