There was a superb column by Yvonne Abatham in yesterday’s Boston Globe headlined “I’m Sorry, Mitt.” I’ll send a link if I can find it.

She had been highly critical of Romney in the last election but in this piece calls Trump “an ignorant narcissist” and says how she now longs for the civil Romney despite her differences with him.

I wonder if he is the last of the rational candidates to be fielded by the GOP for a generation. I didn’t realize when he was up against all that joke competition that the jokes were destined to be the rule.

I don’t know a single fact about Romney. That alone makes him a better choice than those other two.
