There is sophisticated stealth technology involved, but the classified nature of same prevents me from posting the specs here.
Very carefully if it intends to make a clean break.
The colon can expand wider than the stool.
I admit, I guffawed at the question.
My guess is that, being a gas, it can slip through any opening caused by the irregular shape of the poo.
Gas is not confined to a specific shape like stool is. It will find the path of least resistance much easier. That log sitting in your colon has to overcome all manner of friction and resistance.
Man, you’re really coming up empty handed for questions to ask aren’t you? lol
Flatulence finds a way. The rectum is not some hermetically sealed chamber, just like your front door, no matter how well it is weather stripped a bit of air still makes it way out, under and around. haha
Personally I love horse farts, here ya go, for a creature that poops 25 pounds of poo a day plenty of farts escape without incident. I was farted on yesterday, deadly accurate, right behind one of the horses when I got zapped. lol

The pressure widens the colon around the poop long enough to get past. The tension becomes noisy explosive force at the point of exit.
Magnets. It’s done with magnets.
It’s gas….poop is solid. What would be able to push through a small opening easier?
Of course, it all depends on if it’s normal, solid poo and not that runny, sloppy shit.
Uhhhh…the ‘ole bait n’ switch?
