If life is like a pyramid, and one eats the lower levels, then is human life to be a snack for the angels?

Well “angels” are hardly at the top of the pyramid I’m thinking about. But then again, Lucifer is reputed to be an angel.

Well, it might rain too, you know. Besides, ice cream don’t have no bones.

Wait a minute @RedDeerGuy1! This can’t be true! Angels eat angel food cake, with fruit toppings…right? Sooo different eras in Art have drawn everything from little baby-heads with wings as Angels, and others are big, fully-formed beings and carry big trumpets in case of an impromptu jam session. I wonder how those little baby-heads eat their cake once they have it.
I guess they can’t have their angel-food cake and eat it too….How profoundly sad! Might explain why Satan got so POed. How do they add the Redi-Whip? Bummer. ( I’m so sorry- but I couldn’t help it. The angels & imps made me do it!)

@msh There are seven choir of angels, more like a ladder than a pyramid. They feed on each other, in parallel to the food chain on earth:

1. Seraphim, 2. Cherubim, 3. Thrones, 4. Dominations, 5. Principalities, 6. Powers, 7. Virtues, 8. Archangels, 9. Angels

Is there really nothing more to life than eating or being eaten?

Thank you @zenvelo, I appreciate it. I have had discussions such as this with a friend who loves to go back and forth on this fare. For some reason, probably due to heat and humidity, I veered off into whimsy. I also was busy thinking of cooler places to move. Busy night. :) Or perhaps just a secret yen for the cake of the angels.
