Can you use duct tape instead of blackhead strips?
Or what about scotch tape? Humor welcome.

You’ll probably just end up with a sticky nose.
It isn’t just the sticky in those strips. There is actually stuff in there that help break the blackheads out. That is why you have to leave them on for so long.
I used to have a major blackhead/acne problem. I tried so many expensive soaps and treatments.
What worked for me was simply a really hot wet washcloth across my face every few hours. And you want to use a new cloth each time.
Whatever you decide to do about blackheads (pore strips, duct tape, Krazy Glue, a vise, etc.), would you please-please-please upload the procedure to YouTube?
@Love_my_doggie I don’t know how to download to YouTube. You will have to settle for Fluther for now.
Here’s what you do. Make a paste of baking soda, salt and egg whites. Slather up your face and go lie in the sun until your mask cracks. No more blackheads. haha
Isn’t the stuff on those strips some variant of hairspray?
I think it would pull your skin off.
I think youre confusing this with the treatment for warts.
Duct tape does work remarkably well for warts as long as you leave it on Long enough.
For blackheads, eh, not so much.
