Do you have any potty training stories to tell?

I have a few but I’ll just retell one:

When my oldest was 2½ she had recently finished potty training successfully. Sleeping through the night, the whole 9 yards.
Well, she got in trouble once, sent to time out. She was mad. So she peed in her pants right there on the hard wood time out floor. I know she thought it was going to get her a quick release….but guess what. Mom said, “Well, that’s disgusting! But it’s OK. Just sit there. It won’t hurt you. You can clean it up when your time is up.”
She didn’t do it again.

Same kid, about the same time. We were at Goodwill. Suddenly she took off like a shot. I went after her. Got there to see her drop her drawers and plop herself down on a little potty chair that was out on the floor for sale! It was funny! I got to her in time to redirect her to an actual bathroom.

That’s a joke.

I’m not following you @Pachy. Wait…you’ve never been potty trained? You’re a freaking ELEPHANT!! Do you know how nasty that is? Blah glah blah lah!

I’m not following you either, @Dutchess_III.

My mother elephant taught me many things but personal hygiene wasn’t a priority that I can recall. Wait! I’m an elephant. Do I have elephant dementia??

Well, you explain yours and I’ll explain mine.

Elephants with dementia are dangerous. Especially ones who have never been potty trained. I’d get that checked out.

At the museum I couldn’t hold it and I peed in a hole in a meteorite. I was 3 or 4. The next time I peed in a potted plant in the same museum. It wasn’t until I was older that I would be able to make it to the potty in time.
