(NSFW) At what age did you first touch this?

Asked by Eggie (5926points) August 16th, 2016

Guys I am referring to the female genitalia or vagina. Ladies I am referring to the penis. How did you feel? Were you scared, excited or just dull? How did it happen?

I remember in high school when I first touched my boyfriend’s
penis and he “came” and I truly thought I had broken it!
We laugh about it now and I am still totally embarrassed!

18, late bloomer.

I was sexually assaulted at 13 by a family member.

14, in a movie theater. I initiated it because I was curious.

Jesus @syz. I am so so sorry.

Somewhere around late 16s, not sure exactly. You know the old first base, second base, third base analogy. We had been playing around second base for a while and finally got to third. Of course it was one thing to have my fingers playing around the outside, and quit another to insert a finger. That happened after another couple weeks.

It was surprising to find that girls had pubic hair! (This was around 1970–71; female shaving hadn’t become popular at that point.)

They were both pretty much like they had been described in the serious books I read beforehand.

Dutchess_III's avatar

We have no idea what serious books you read beforehand, @SecondHandStoke. “The Happy Hooker”?

SecondHandStoke's avatar

^ Legitimate books on the subject of human sexuality.

I figured I might as well have some knowledge at my disposal for when sexual activity entered my life.

I approached driving the same way.

You have no idea. Don’t attempt to bolster your point by speaking for other Flutheristas.

Does changing diapers count?

I didn’t know what you were talking about @SecondHandStoke! The Happy Hooker was pretty informative. ~

Hey…since we’re on the subject, you want to know something interesting? A girlfriend first told me about the clitoris. We were 13 or 14. I didn’t quite understand all that she was saying, but me, being me, went to do some research. We had these cool encyclopedias. In the section on human anatomy, there were these clear plastic pages. You flipped them over one at a time, and “built” a body, starting with the skeletal structure, then the nerves, then the muscles, then the internal organs and, finally, the external organs. It was very detailed and interesting. Except for one thing. Guess what one part of the female anatomy was not shown? I went to the library. Same thing in their encyclopedias.
I didn’t look any further. I suppose I could have found something in a book that was specifically dedicated to human anatomy, though.
I was 21 before I finally became aware of where it was and the magic powers it has, thanks to my future ex husband.

Oh, and I was babysitting for another girlfriend many years later. We had kids the same age. I idly picked up a book she had (she didn’t have many books in her house,) and started looking through it. It was some sort of..medical thing. It was printed in the 50’s originally. Something caught my eye…it stated that research had shown that the reason black women were so promiscuous was because their clitorises were larger than “normal.”
I snapped that book shut, told my girlfriend what it said. She just shrugged. I said do you really want a book around the house that makes idiotic claims like that, for your kids to read?
She said, “Why would my kids ever read it?”
I was like….I went through every single last book in my house growing up. Most of them more than once.
So, anyway.

17. With a guy I had been best friends with since I was 12. It was weird.

I think I was 19, almost 20. My boyfriend at the time was tired of waiting for me to be “ready” and I convinced myself that he was right and gave him an awkward handjob / blowjob and cried a lot the next morning. I wasn’t really turned on at all, just nervous and uncomfortable.

20. But I consider myself to be demisexual, so that’s very, very unsurprising.

@MooCows You just touched it and it went off? Did he have a hair trigger or is there a little more to the “touch” part of your story??

Eggie's avatar

I was 17. Had a girlfriend who was 14 and we were very curious. It felt great and exciting.

Dutchess_III's avatar

Goddamn it @kritiper! “You just touched it and it went off?” I was trying to take a drink of my drink and you caused me to spew! STOP THAT!!
I now have to clean my keyboard. Again. I hate you Fluther.

kritiper's avatar

@Dutchess_III Hmmm… Now there is something one could invent. A sneeze shield for computer keyboards with built-in rain gutter.

In the spirit of the question, call it a Keyboard Condom.

I had a baby sitter when I was about seven and we fondled each other while watching TV. It was a bit weird, I suppose, but it was a mutual thing and I liked her a lot. Just breasts mostly. She had big breasts. I was scared my parents would find out.

The next time I was 12 and the girl was 17. Her name was Kathleen. I was curious and crazy horny and I’m not quite sure what the deal was with her. Maybe she wanted a boy she could control, like a power thing, like a pedo. I don’t know. But I’ll never forget her. We met at her house in the afternoon and on Saturdays.. Her parents were never home. I was in junior high and she was in high school. It lasted about three weeks. I wasn’t with a girl again for three years and it nearly drove me around the bend. I couldn’t think of anything else. I’ve never considered this memory to be anything but pleasurable and never felt violated.

@Espiritus_Corvus How old was the babysitter? She sounds sick in the head.
