(NSFW) Why do I have to use the washroom just as I stand and get dressed?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24987points) August 19th, 2016

I have the feeling to go and I do but It never quite finishes and, I have to go again often just when I stand up for bullet diarrhea. ( liquid and solid at the same time). I went to the doctor and had a physical and everything was perfect except I had moderate cholesterol. He suggested that I have more fiber and more salt and take it easy for binge reading. What do you suggest? Maybe walking more? Also I have to pee every 15 minutes, except at night where I can wait a hour before needing to pee.

Did you talk to your doctor about your frequent urination? That may be a sign of an enlarged prostate.

You already have all the hints I would suggest in your summary- more fiber in your diet, walk more, eat less processed foods.

Physical activity and time are both factors. See your doctor to eliminate any medical issues.

Welcome to middle age, and I hope for you it’s late middle age. I made it to old age. But now I’m being suitably punished for those years of complaining women & their passions for the bathroom

^ Women’s passion for bathrooms (ladies lounges) are social constructs.

And has seen for himself the others patiently waiting by.

I passed a gallstone a few times a week for three years. Don’t whine at me with your irrelevant commentary.

@RedDeerGuy1, you need to talk to your doctor again. As @zenvelo has suggested this could signify a problem with your prostate. Go back again and tell your doctor this is still a problem.

You need to change doctors. I am no professional, but what you are describing requires further examination.

RedDeerGuy1's avatar

I’m with @stanleybmanly it’s just the side effects of middle age.

Don’t dismiss the advice of @LostInParadise so quickly. I’ve seen and heard enough horror stories to tell you that anytime a chronic condition persists while you are being supposedly treated for it, a second opinion is a good idea.

I’ve been to three doctors in the free clinic. They all say that I am fine. I even wondered if I had scurvy.

@RedDeerGuy1 He suggested you take in more salt? Wow you must be amazing at avoiding salt. And the binge reading? is that a typo? But it sounds like you might need a 2nd opinion, because every 15 minutes is a lot.

Update Turns out it is IBS. The standing thing might be just gravity.
