How much would it cost for someone to drive me to and class every Wednesday night from 6–9, from Brooklyn NY to Garden City NY, and where can I find something like that?

You can take the subway to Jamaica Station and connect with the Long Island RailRoad.
Takes an hour or so each direction. The fare one way at 5 o’clock is $7.75, the return will be 5.75.
That’s going to be expensive because it’s not only the distance, but they’re going to probably have to wait around, as it wouldn’t benefit to them to go back home. You’re looking at about 5 hours of someone’s time, plus the ride/gas/tolls.
Does your school have an online form for students? Maybe you can find someone to carpool with. Otherwise, @zenvelo has the answer.
What neighborhood in Brooklyn?
Going through Penn is simpler as there are fewer transfers.
I’m wondering if there’s a reason why the OP specified she wants a to be driven. I’m sure she knows there’s plenty of public transportation in the areas mentioned.
@jca – how do you know this is a female?
@elbanditoroso Why do you assume it is a male? @jca used a pronoun, her assumption is as equally valid as yours.
I’d suggest going to the school’s message board and posting your request / requirement there. Also any other nearby schools. There may be other students doing the same commute.
