In Fluther I tried to use a quotation mark on a word because I don’t think it’s the correct word. It keeps disappearing

I guess the script that Fluther uses for the topics, automatically deletes any characters other than letters, commas, and numbers.
I just posted a question and I noticed that not only did it drop quotation marks, but also colons.
It is a minor inconvenience that we can’t do links in the questions without pasting in the whole address. The address often runs off the page and is unusable to the responders. If there is a quick fix to this, that would great.

How about using the link-editing option to shorten the address?
I don’t know if you’ve already tried that, but I have and it works for me.
^^That’s interesting. I never knew about this. So, quotes and colons work as long as they are in brackets?
Good to know about the brackets @@Brian1946 Thanks.
Isn’t there another alternative too? I mean if you want to make sure you’re not clicking on a spam or much worse?
