All is well on Oahu. Madeline missed this island, and Lester will dump a bunch of rain, but we’ll be okay.

Thank you for asking.

Aloha Friday of a long weekend!

Someone needs to start the nekkid pancakes. I have haupia cream sauce and chopped macadamia nuts for them. (Haupia is made from coconuts.)

The car got a good wash and there are a few puddles in the yard. Nothing exciting to report from central Florida.

This was a baby hurricane. Just a lot of water. The dead tree in my yard is still standing.

I’m fine just waiting for the big quake.

We are supposed to get a little rain this weekend—that is all.

Last night it poured rain and winds were about 25–30 I think. Overall, it wasn’t much of anything where I live, I was too far from the eye of the storm.

We are getting a little bit of water, forecast is 6 to 8 inches by Saturday 6 PM from Hermine. Winds have been under 25 MPH.

I’ve been living in So Cal for over 60 years, and from what I remember, we’ve never had a hurricane here.

I know Lester will never be here, but I’d for it to anyway and extinguish all of our wild fires.

Yes here in the midwest I/we are pretty safe though in a couple days after a hurricane hits landfall we often do get the heavy rains pushed up our way and never cease to be amused by the salty sea air that accompanies these downpours.

Nope. Just gad a tropical storm ruin our Friday concert. Thanks mother nature…

Still getting storm bands here. Hoping it goes away soon-ish. I hate it when my car gets stuck in the yard.

No chance of that here. Only worries here are earthquakes and volcanos/ volcanic cauldrons like Mammoth Lakes and Yellowstone.

No. We got heavy wind and rain from Hermain. Luckily that’s all.
