I’m trying to discover fresh, new entertainment. My playlist is being overworked beyond repair. Any good podcasts, music, videos, or apps?

i just synced….my itunes library
Give me a genre of music you like and I’ll throw in some suggestions! As for apps, I really like AquaForest, Enigmo and Crash Racing.
Podcasts:
This American Life
MacBreak Weekly
for music, I’m into r&b, soul, techno, and hip hop (preferably oldies)
I enjoy videos that have witty humor (onion news network is hilarious) and teach me something new (flutherish).
Always I appreciate anything outside of my spectrum.
Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along. Its by Joss Whedon, of Firefly and Buffy fame. I haven’t watched any yet, but I am excited about it.
tri-state by Above and Beyond
e.g. I just downloaded Green Light by John Legend and Andrè 3000.
Generation Kill.. I’ve watched since the first episode, but just added the third installment.
I just sync’d the movie The Village. And two podcasts Epic Fu and Diggnation. Epic Fu is pretty awesome bytheway.
A load of TED talks. mmm, gonna go to bed and watch them all.
@OP
Rogue Wave makes me happy.
@tinyfaery
Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is a-flipping-mazing.
I just downloaded Jason Mraz live and acoustic and various Regina Spektor tracks not yet in my library. Now, which to listen to first…...
As expected, I recieved the wide variety of tastes from my fellow flutherers (is that what we’re called?). I enjoy new and exotic forms of entertainment. Thank you for the suggestions.
the new Girl Talk album, some old Stars songs, tons of Kate Nash
The two first coldplay albums. They’re good.
to reccomend one album i’d say Queen – Sheer Heart Attack
A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Mos Def, Method Man and Redman, Busta Rhymes, Bizmarkie.
I just got back from Rock the Bells.
@eambos- great choices. I’ve trying to find some good Mos Def songs, do you recommend any from your playlist?
Eambos – Rock the Bells was SERIOUS!!!! I was there too!
good Mos Def songs – Anything on the Reflection Eternal album.
The Hi-Tek instrumental album, The Chronic 2001, Enter the Wu-Tang, OutKast – ATLiens and Aquemini
Burning Organ – Paul Gilbert, it’s a really cool album, Marco Minnemann does drums on that one, and he is one sweet drummer, just for you guys i made a small cut, it’s his drum solo on ‘My Drum’ and as an extra example of how cool the whole thing is, this is the cover art
