Is the Search broken on Fluther?

It was just fixed this week. It’s broken again? : (

Just checked it now (3:40 pm Eastern Time/US) and it doesn’t work.

So strange… http://www.fluther.com/search/?q=test works fine for me.

Can you tell me exactly how you’re testing it? I’ve just verified that it works for me again, both in the search bar and on the search page.

Working for me.

Search box on the upper right. If I type in (gumbo in this case), suggestions appear til I hit enter – then I get the Oops message

If you search for ‘test’, it will work. ‘gumbo’ will break.

I wonder if the search terms that are broken are things that return zero results.

I can see that there are matches – until I hit enter.

Ah, yeah, you’re right. Just a theory. I’m very confused as to why it would work for some terms and not others.

I just typed in “Mariah” and it said “Oops, something’s wrong internally.” I typed Mariah into the search bar on upper right.

I tried demolition and it’s broken for me for that search too. I used that because I knew it should return one of my old questions.

Also, if you do notice that things are broken, the more descriptive you are about you did that led up to the error, the faster I can reproduce it and fix it.
