Any creative ideas to prevent people from stealing a DVD from an opened DVD set?

I have a bunch of DVD sets I need to resell. Mostly TV series seasons. 3–10 DVDs to a set. My biggest fear is someone stealing one disc out of the set, ruining the value.
Taking all the discs out and storing them separately isn’t really an option. I don’t own the store where they will be selling, and that’s too much of a hassle. I have a locked glass case at each place, but there are too many DVDs for that.
Any creative ideas?

If you come up with something, my local record store would love to hear it. They dislike the disc-stored-separately game, too.
I simply will not do the ‘disc-stored-separately’ route, @Seek. It’s nearly impossible with multi-disc sets, and the $ isn’t there.
only display a printout of the cover and keep the actual set in the back.
Sadly, this happens all the time in retail; it’s the reason why shrinkwrap and those awful clamshell packages exist.
I once bought a box of large, and extremely pricey, business envelopes such as these: http://www.staples.com/Staples-Tyvek-QuickStrip-Catalog-Envelopes/product_SS950127. When I got home, I learned that someone had switched the tops of two boxes, to steal “my” envelopes by substituting a cheap, paper product. When I went back to the store, I was told that this is common.
Attach a photo of the contents to the outside and then shrink-wrap the whole shebang?
I actually know someone that will let me professionally shrink wrap things. But, man, what a lot of time that will take.
One thing I have learned is that you cannot resell a DVD with a “busty” woman on the cover. I presume the teens steal the discs out of the boxes. They disappear every time.
I have a mall spot with room in the showcase. I guess I can lock a dose of them in there.
Maybe I could band them? Two ½” strips of paper that cross like a “t”, overwrapped with strapping tape. The paper would be to keep the tape from sticking to the box, and the strapping tape would be the security.
I just cut paper and tried it, and I think this will work!
